Hi, I'm Ren-Nessa!
I am finishing up my bachelors degree in Mass Communications at Alcorn State University. In working towards being a Producer, I have worked as an Associate Producer for WLBT Channel 3/ FOX 40 in Jackson, Mississippi and interned at WAVY TV 10/ FOX 43 in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Under my department at Alcorn, I shoot and edit videos for our newscast as a one-woman band and I write content for the campus newspaper. In addition, I work with my school's sports network team as a video-board/switchboard operator and a camera woman. When I am not fulfilling the duties of being President of Alcorn State University's Association of Black Journalists (ASUABJ), I am with the Mass Communications Club, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honor Society or Sigma Chi Iota Academic Honor Society. In my spare time I edit pictures and create graphics and logos. While on my journey I realized that I have always been interested in storytelling and that I have the ability to be intriguing, concise, and accurate to deliver the most effective stories.
